A Little Bit of History!

Once upon a time, Hothead Studios was just getting started in the big bad world of advertising & marketing. In those wild and crazy days, we had a lot of entertainment clients – wrasslin’, racin’ and rock n’ roll. And in order to capture their little attention-deficit-challenged eyeballs, we needed a wonderfully weird and wacky website!

So we hired our tremendously talented friend Mister Retro (AKA Derek Yaniger) to create some truly mad scribblings (that’s “illustrations” to you non-hepcat types) for the first Hothead Studios website.

Let’s just say our site was a sight…as in outa-site!

Waiting for the graphics to “Get Loaded”? We’ll entertain you with a wiener dog in a clown suit … er …”relieving” himself on our logo! Talk about your branding campaign!

Our services? Design + Advertising + Tattoo Removal. Bikini Waxes. Puppet Shows. Monkey Washing. Giant Robots. Rabid Chickens. Disco Dancing.

And all this collective craziness actually worked! For awhile. But then one day, the wrasslers and racecar drivers went away. Sniff. And clients that actually PAY their invoices replaced them. When we feel nostalgic for the Good Old Days, we just click on the image above of the old site and it wisks us away.
